What an ending – what a comeback.

Down 3-0 with six minutes left on the stadionuret at St. Jakob-Park there was no one who had thought that Åge Hareides should have anything at home from Basel.

But as fate would have it differently. Two Danish scores eventually turned the match on its head, and since Henrik Dalsgaard in the last minute rose to the sky and headede reversal in behind Yann Sommer was one point a reality.

After the match, a surprisingly quiet Dalsgaard status:

It was a fine time to score his first international goal. It flies just great inside the box, and then I had to check in, say Brentford-football for Channel 5.

Although he seemed calm, had to, he had to admit, however, that the end was a little out of the ordinary.

– This is one of the wilder. When they scored the 3-0 I thought that it was about to end. But we itch on.

– the Game is maybe not the prettiest, we have delivered. We began to pour it into the box and get a little pressure on it and get some andenbolde. I don’t know if they forget to defend, at least to a 3-2 where we begin to smell blood. And then it was just to go for it, says Henrik Dalsgaard.

He had to admit, 3-3, in the circumstances, felt like a victory – and the Danish comeback witnesses according to him some qualities of the Danish national team.

– It shows that we can beat anyone. Even on a really bad day we get 3-3 out against Switzerland. We must have a little more quality in the future, but in terms of impact, it is here a fine start, ” says Dalsgaard.

Denmark, with the one point third in the kvalifikationsgruppe D after Ireland and Switzerland.
