The Australian Olympic vice-champion in the high jump Nicola Olyslagers (ex McDermott, 26) achieved the best world performance of the season (2.02 m) Thursday in Lausanne (Switzerland).
On a temporary jumper installed in the central square of Lausanne, the day before the main program of the Diamond League meeting at the Olympic stadium in Pontaise, Olyslagers crossed this bar on its second try. She then failed three times at 2.05m.
She thus equals her personal best, which allowed her to take silver at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
