Lyon’s Haitian international striker Melchie Dumornay will be absent “several weeks” after undergoing ankle surgery on Tuesday, OL women announced on Wednesday.
Aged 20, Dumornay, recruited this summer by Olympique Lyonnais, was injured on November 10 in the D1 championship against Montpellier (5-0) but played again on November 17 against Dijon (4-1).
She has a record of four goals in eight matches played in all competitions with Lyon where she joined last winter while she previously played for Reims.
