Danish international striker Kasper Dolberg, 25, has left Nice to sign a four-year contract until 2027 with Belgian club Anderlecht, the two clubs jointly announced on Friday evening. Arrived in Nice from Ajax Amsterdam at the end of August 2019, at the age of 21 for a transfer of 20.5 million euros, the Danish striker had had a promising first season with the Riviera club, where he had scored 11 goals in 23 Ligue 1 matches. Subsequently, Dolberg had two very complicated seasons in Nice before, last season, losing on loan to Sevilla FC, from July to December. Then to try to revive, without success, in a second loan to Hoffenheim (Bundesliga), from January to the end of the season.

According to various sources familiar with the matter, the transfer of Dolberg to Anderlecht, 11th in the last Belgian championship, will bring in 5 million euros for Nice. On the other hand, Nice should announce next week the departure, on loan with compulsory purchase option, of the Italian defender Mattia Viti, 21, for the Italian club of Sassuolo.
