Oyonnax Rugby, promoted to Top 14 rugby, announced on Monday the recruitment of the third line of Clermont, Loïc Godener who has signed up for two years.
Aged 27, Godener was trained at Clamart, PUC, Stade Français and Racing 92 where he made his professional debut during the 2015-2016 season.
He then played for FC Grenoble in ProD2, notably participating in the accession match against Oyonnax in 2018, before returning to Stade Français (2019-2022) where he played 48 Top 14 matches. He had been playing in Clermont since the season last, playing ten matches including six as a holder (1 try) and where he had one year of contract left.
