The United States, already qualified for the second round of the Basketball World Cup, largely dominated Jordan (110-62), for their last Group C match, Wednesday in Pasay, near Manila. Led by an Anthony Edwards author of 22 points, Team USA, a candidate for the title, won the three matches of its group.

The United States is qualified for the second round, along with the Dominican Republic, Italy, Australia, Canada, Latvia, Serbia, Spain, Lithuania, Montenegro, Georgia and ‘Germany. Four places are still up for grabs.
