The North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has invited the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit in Vladivostok to North Korea. The North Korean news Agency KCNA reported on Friday, Kim had proposed to Putin to visit the country is “a suitable time”. The Russian head of state accepted the invitation.

Kim and Putin had met on Thursday in the ostrussischen Vladivostok for the first time. They argued for a deepening of relations between the two countries. Putin also called for security guarantees for North Korea.

“Evil intention” of the United States

The Meeting took place against the Backdrop of the stalled nuclear talks between North Korea and the United States. In February, a summit meeting between Kim and U.S. President Donald Trump in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi failed.
