Santa Fe’s Pedro Ruiz district will reopen on Friday, July 8, and continue until Sunday, the 10th. These traditional festivals are being held after two years of pandemic.
The Santaferino City Council’s Department of Festivities and the Neighborhood Association of the Annex prepared a variety of programs that preserve the essence of their activities. Some of them were also created with the cooperation of the City of Fuente Vaqueros.
These celebrations, which are characterized in their family atmosphere and where neighbors have become the engine for their operation, will begin this Friday with traditional lighting and performances by the group Richy y Compania’. This will add to the enjoyment of the verbena night.
The parade of big heads will take place on Saturday. On Saturday, the Fuente Cowboys Music Band and the Fuente Cowboys Music Band are responsible for animating the morning. The Santa Fe City Council will provide free chocolate with churros and other goodies in Plaza de los Naranjos. Residents and visitors can also enjoy verbena at night with live performances by Dj Anzoni and the Moonlight Orchestra.
The last day will see a water party and an elderly dinner in Plaza de la Iglesia. This event will be entertained by local dancers, ‘Wiggles family’. Veronica Carmona will sing the ‘Se llama Copla contest’ at the Grand Evening.
