Gerardo Ariel Menzeguez from San Lorenzo de Almagro is the current Copa Libertadores champion. He was this Tuesday’s fourth signing for Jaen Paraiso Interior FS. According to the club, he has signed an agreement that will last until 2024 and another option.

Menzeguez spent almost all of his career in San Lorenzo, a futsal team from Argentina. He won the title of Champion of America (Copa Libertadores), against Carlos Barbosa of Brazil in Montevideo in May 2021. His team won the Argentine Cup in 2018, and was awarded the title of AFA Tournament champion. They qualified for the Copa Libertadores in the next year.
He also played in the Italian League in 2020 at the Sandro Abate. This was part of the 20-21 season, scoring nine goals. He is also an international player with Argentina.
