Every day from 8 a.m. to 12 o’clock at night. In order to respond to the needs of Almeria residents during summer, the Almeria City Council’s Department of Culture and Education keeps the Jose Maria Artero Central Library study rooms open every day from 8 AM to 12 PM. The schedule will be maintained through the fall and can be extended to accommodate user needs.

This will allow Almeria residents to access the basic facilities necessary for culture and education during July, August, and September. They will do this with the full recovery of the capacity and the recommendation to use the mask. Diego Cruz, the Councilor for Culture stated that summer students, activists, and researchers need space to work. That is why the Jose Maria Artero central library will have study areas open throughout the day.

The Jose Maria Artero Central Library, as well as the rest of the Municipal Public Libraries, will be able to resume their normal capacity for study and consultation. The following capacities will be available in the Jose Maria Artero central library’s study rooms: Room 24/7 (located at the ground floor) 52 seats; Room 24/7 on the first level 56 seats; Colombine Room on the first and second floors 22 seats each; Group work room on the second floor 38 places. As of today, there are 168 study spaces at the Library.
