The sale of a minority stake in Repsol Low Carbon has been cooking for more than a year and will help the company achieve its goal of reaching 20,000 renewable megawatts (MW) by 2030.
Repsol’s board has approved the sale of 25% of its renewables division to the consortium formed by Credit Agricole and the EIP fund. This consortium will pay 905 million in money, and will also assume the corresponding part of the debt of that division.
