The MT Helmets Group, Spanish parent company of brands such as MT Helmets itself – the helmet that protects the head of Sergio García, current leader of the Moto2 world championship and who did the same with Pedro Acosta when he won the Moto3 and Moto2 titles – , Axxis Helmets and Seventy Degrees (sports equipment), faces changes in its management leadership to strengthen and drive the growth of the company.

On the one hand, Javier Tomás, a member of the founding family, assumes the presidency of the Murcia group after 12 years as CEO, and his position will now be occupied by Iván Abad Iglesias (former director of Mango, Motocard and Fútbol Emotion, among others) who after his appointment as the new CEO, he has been “fully convinced of the great potential of the group.”

The great growth that the MT Helmets Group is maintaining made it necessary “for the structure to grow accordingly”, as Tomás acknowledged, while pointing out that the incorporation of Iván Abad as the new CEO “is very positive news for the group”. For Tomás, “with his help” MT Helmets will continue to “gain positions” in the race that is the market for protective equipment for motorcyclists.

Abad, for his part, has also recognized the “great challenge” of contributing his experience “to the growth of such an exciting company” and being sure of achieving “the objectives we set for ourselves” among which is consolidating MT Helmets, Axxis Helmets and Seventy Degrees “as reference brands in the motorcycle sector.”
