Phillip Faber has sung and played the danes through the first phase of the coronakrisen recent months, but now it’s over.

On Instagram, he says goodbye and thank you for this time with a clear invitation/challenge to the sangglade danes.

‘Remember to continue to sing for your children, with your families and those you have dear, when we come out on the other side. It has been a great pleasure. Thank you for the song!’, says Faber, who has been the real focal point of the morning and on Friday evening, when he, along with Mads Steffensen has presented the danes for their common culture.

In his postings he says that it has been an overwhelming experience to sing the danes through a time without precedent.

’today we send in the morning on DR1 for the last time in this place. In exactly 100 programs, this has been my view, and it has been so overwhelming to feel that we have been able to stand together in the song in this unpleasant time’, he writes as accompanying text to a picture of his grand piano.

In the evening there is once again the option of singing old Danish songs, when ‘Sing – midsummer’ will be posted on DR1 at 20, after which there is by by Peter Mygind at 21.15.

It is, however, without Phillip Faber, who the same evening to play a concert in Aalborg, and therefore can not be with.

instead, it becomes Mathias Hammer, who is a host on the P2, which sits in front of the keyboard in the music hall, where he receives the visit of the singing guests as Dorthe Gerlach, Silas Holst and Julie the German occupiers and the DANISH Juniorkoret.
