I worked in Tivoli, from the time I was 15 until I was 22 years old with all sorts of things, so I have had the Tivoli very under the skin. When I was about 18 years old, I read a biography of Preben Uglebjerg, who stood behind the varitéen in his time, and that’s how I learned varitéen to know.

– It was exciting, it had been such a big thing in the 60’s and 70’s, and I also asked some in here, when I worked here, if they could remember it. So it has been a dream for me ever since to reinvent the varitéen, he says to Ekstra Bladet.

And even though the premiere was moved from april to september, it managed to Botoft to persuade all the guests to move with.

He has also had a few other jobs that have been cancelled, and it has been felt on the economy.

– I have lost some money, but I have not sought the stimulus, We considered it, but everything has not been completely quiet. I have been working on varitéen, and I have also made a number of speaks, so I thought that there were others who had more need of it, he says.
