Woods was accused of being the “mastermind” of the murder of the three agents, lured into an ambush in a house in Birmingham, where they had attempted to arrest him for crimes related to the drug. It had not been him to press the trigger but it is the same was considered as guilty as the perpetrator, Kerry Spencer , had called him “the innocent 100%” in a recent letter sent to the u.s. media. “I know this is a fact because I am the person who shot and killed all three cops”, he had written to Spencer.

The celebrity was drive to the mobilization of about 120,000 people who had asked the governor of Alabama, Kay Ivey, to suspend the sentence.
