The invasion of the locusts: Fao warning on the danger of famine in east Africa

The Fao, the Un organisation for food and agriculture, has warned of the danger of famine in east Africa if not put under control huge swarms of locusts that infest the region. So far, the insects have affected Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, devouring crops and pastures in areas already deficient food.
