Thousands of people were evacuated after the volcano, not far from the capital of the Philippines, Manila, was raised in the sky a huge cloud of ash. It was decided the temporary suspension of flights.

seismologists have found that the magma is moving towards the crater of the volcano, one of the most active in the country, 65 kilometers south of Manila. This increases the possibility of an eruption, which could happen “within a few days or a few weeks” if the activity is continued, as explained by Renato Solidum, head of the Institute of the philippine volcanology and seismology. Solidum has confirmed that officials will order the evacuation of the people living on another island in the vicinity if the situation deteriorates.
