PARIS – New day of national strike in France against the pension reform desired by Emmanuel Macron. Rail workers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and other workers have joined the protests, which come in a week of key negotiations between the government and the trade unions. The Eiffel Tower is closed and the employees joined the protest. Even some schools are closed. The unions have called on workers to block the access roads to the main ports, including that of the southern city of Marseille.
