For the centenary of the birth of Alberto Sordi, the historic residence of the actor in the Capital will open the doors for a great show. The exhibition, scheduled from march to June, will try to tell the multi-faceted artist, an icon of the roman world, in all its facets, the human and professional. The multimedia pathway will develop in the various rooms of the villa which rises at the foot of the Baths of Caracalla, and will arrive in a pavilion outside the building used as a cinema room with free entrance for the screening of his film. The initiative, proposed by the Fondazione Museo Alberto Sordi, was strongly supported by mayor Virginia Ray, who promoted it as an “indisputable cultural opportunity for the city of Rome”.
