The unmanned private space freighter “Cygnus” to the International space station ISS. On Board: just under three and a half tons of food and materials for scientific experiments freight.

With around 3,500 kilograms of the Material onboard is to start the private space freighter “Cygnus” to the International space station ISS. The unmanned freighter flew off on Wednesday afternoon from a spaceport in the US state of Virginia on an Antares-230-rocket, the US space Agency NASA announced on Twitter.

Cygnus is expected on Friday to the ISS. By using a robot arm, U.S. astronaut Anne McClain and her canadian colleague, David Saint-Jacques to make it to the space station. “Cygnus” and brings food and materials for scientific experiments to the ISS.
