There was a lot of people that followed the second race day in the Swim the Open, and, not least, the swedes received a large support from the crowd.

Norway has produced a new talented swimmers who introduced himself to the Swedish audience during the Saturday evening.

the 18-year-old Tomoe Zenimoto Hvas set a new Norwegian record in the 100 metres butterfly when he won the final with the time 52,46 .

Hungarian Katinka Hosszu, who is called the Iron Lady because she always sets up in the very many branches, had to step up on the podium on two occasions during Saturday’s finalpass.

First they won Katinka Hosszu, the 400 metres individual medley by far with a time of 4.33,06. A short while later, she won the 100 metres backstroke with a time of 59,95.

Saturday night’s final of the 1500 metres freestyle was really high class. Won the German Florian Wellbrock with a time of 14.42,91. It is the second-fastest time at the distance in years.

when it came to Jan Micka of the Czech republic with a time of 14.48,52, a time which puts him in third place on the världsårsbästarankningen.

Third in the race came the Norwegian, Henrik Christiansen with a time of 14.49,67.
