Bornholm Police are now asking the public for help to find the 83-year-old Niels Kristian Nielsen.
He left his residence on Southern Avenue in Ronne Friday at 16.30 on a gray herrecykel.
Normally he moves to the foot and usually only to move between place of residence and the main Square in Rønne, police said in a press release.
According to the police, Niels Kristian Nielsen ‘onset of dementia and can be difficult to find your way around’. He may not be able to disclose his name or address.
Bornholm Police asks citizens to check garages and outhouses in the hope of finding the missing man.
‘at the same time, we call for that, if you have knowledge of buildings that stand empty over the weekend – for example, commercial buildings – also, just check out the places’, is the prayer of the police.
Niels Kristian Nielsen is described as 172 centimetres tall, plain body, gray hair and beards. He was wearing the blue hat, dark blue jacket and black pants.
