Were you ever in Zurich?
several times, but always just passing through.

did you Know the six bells already?
no, not at all. I learned of this Festival, as the invited the Central Committee of the guilds of the city of Strasbourg to participate.

What seemed odd, as they were informed about that?
The organization of parties for the Public in honor of the guilds is totally unknown to us. Several things have surprised me: the burning of The Böögg, of course, without a doubt, is impressive. But also the organization of the two parades, which combine an incredible number of participants, both children and adults.

What are you particularly looking forward?
Large delegations from Strasbourg, will participate on Sunday and Monday at the parades. The groups that have confirmed their participation in this trip, for all the diversity and richness of our city. They are involved in the project actively, and some of them practice for several weeks to draw a nice picture of Strasbourg. I am very touched that this project combines so much energy, and I look forward to learning the special atmosphere of the city of Zurich for this Festival.

“Our fixed calendar is also pretty full, but we have no Festival that is comparable.”

there will be in Strasbourg, a traditional?
The Strasbourg festival calendar is also pretty full, but we have no, with this comparable. The Strasbourg typical event is the Christmas market, the there is since the middle ages, and the centuries-old Tradition we carry with pride.

To the Lindenhof, the Festival of Strasbourg will start soon. What’s going on there?
We will present the many facets of our city and hope that the Zurich-based get pleasure, to visit us in Strasbourg. I very much hope that our festival will bring tents in the Lindenhof in the expected success.
