A UN-sentenced Tribunal of the former Bosnian Serb leader Karadzic for war crimes in the 1990s, to life imprisonment. In the first instance, Karadzic had been sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Because of the genocide of Srebrenica has been politically convicted the main person responsible for Ex-Serb leader Radovan Karadzic to life in prison. Almost a quarter of a century after this, the worst massacre in Europe after the Second world war, the judges of the UN languages-the war crimes Tribunal in The Hague, the judgment against Karadzic and increased the penalties to the lower court. The judge’s decision can not be appealed.
