“The people who are on the side stood, pulled their children away from the street and could just in time of the material,” continues Gerry. “We saw a man behind the wheel with his window open reed. He had a bat stuck in one hand. Some people, including myself, walked to the car. When that stopped, we managed the door pull open, and four men we have that guy out of his car again. Not simple: he was quite strong and resisted enormous. He stayed the whole time and cry and scream. With a dozen or so people we have him restrained. There were two agents running up and which could ultimately buoys – but that was only when there was a team with a reinforcement had arrived. He continued to be tooth and nail to oppose it. Can’t believe it, actually.”
