Car The next generation of the Porsche Macan will get only electric drive. The compact SUV will in 2021 be the third electric model of the brand. The Taycan, the first fully electric sports car from Porsche, at the end of this year already in production. Shortly thereafter follows the Taycan Cross Turismo, the adventurous version of the Taycan.
Porsche has closed its factory in Leipzig to build up a site for electric mobility. Therefore, there will soon be no less than three electric Porsches around.

Porsche wants, as quickly as possible on the green cart and jumping up and developed together with Audi for a brand new electric platform. “Electric mobility and Porsche go hand-in-hand, especially also because of the sporty nature of electric propulsion,” says Porsche’s executive chairman Oliver Blume. “Until 2022, we invest more than 6 billion euros in electric mobility.”
The other iconic Porsche models continue perhaps for a long time on fossil fuel. The next ten years invests Porsche namely, in internal combustion engines. The Porsche 911 will not, therefore, yet not too fast, the electric tour go up.
