“Niklas Bäckman, co-owner at a bar and Woody’s in London, wanted to do something for the women and children living in sheltered accommodation in the town. So he decided to invite them on the three-course dinner after the closing.”

“Several of the women who live in the sheltered accommodation in Karlskoga had not been in a restaurant in a very long time – and many of them had not even been outside the door when the offer came for a free meal.”
“– We have several women who can’t go out at all because of the threat. Some who have changed town can go out safely, but many are forced to keep themselves inside. But all could follow to the restaurant the door was closed and locked, ” says Cecilia Heikkinen, who works at the Women’s association against violence in Karlskoga and Degerfors, to Aftonbladet.”
