on Sunday evening were 18 danes evacuated from a fire at the kenyan hotel Leopard Beach Hotel.
It confirms Bravo Tours to Ekstra Bladet.
It was supposedly the fireworks from an indian wedding, which ignited the fire around 23 o’clock local time, when a stray rocket hit the hotel, says managing director of Bravo Tours Peder Hornshøj .
– It was the hotel staff, who was responsible for the evacuation of the danes, says Peder Hornshøj,
Local media, quoting a police officer that a rocket had to be landed on the roof and therefore have ignited the fire.
the Danes, was to follow Bravo Tours, will all be of good courage, in spite of the dramatic evening.
– We’ve had people by guests since yesterday evening, says Peder Hornshøj.
All the danes important belongings like money and passport also had to be ridden out of the hotel, he says.
It is not yet known how bad the fire at the kenyan hotel has been. Why should the danes until further notice be at the hotel, where they have been transferred to.
– We have other hotels in the area, and so we keep them there until we know something more about the extent of the fire, says the director.
Bravo Tours will use the morning to figure out what to do with the rest of the danes ‘ holiday.
– Some have been on safari and had to spend some days by the sea. Others still have several weeks of beach holiday back, tells Peder Hornshøj.
