”Am I a bad person if I didn’t bother to help you?”, singing Jonas Bergsten in the evocative basdrivna ”We will live forever”. In the song, the disc’s final track, he portrays the desperation of living in an impossible relationship, marked by chaos and mental illness.

the Weight in to stand next to, in trying to carry another person through life, to the limit that one breaks down, lies like a misty veil over Bergstens voice. As well as the desperate desire to do more, be more, cope more.

thematic, textdriven disc, dressed in a straight, simple popmelodier, like nails fixed with a daily life where hope goes hand in hand with despair, love with the guilt, the powerlessness, with naïve prayers about simple solutions. It is heartfelt and painful, a courageous disc from a truly brave artist.
