UNHCR: 250 000 can return to Syria
Closer to the 250 000 syrian refugees may return to their home country in 2019. It predicts the UN refugee agency (UNHCR). Many refugees, however, has problems with the travel documents and the assets that require help from the government before they can return, according to a representative for the UNHCR in Geneva.
We predict in this phase up to 250 000 syrians can return in 2019. That figure could rise or fall depending on the degree to which we succeed in removing the obstacles, ” says Amin Awad, director of UNHCR in the Middle east.
