He had paid 800’000 state employees for five weeks. On Friday, he had to capitulate. Instead of concrete or steel, the President gets a working group: parliamentarians of both parties are now expected to speak in therapy sessions, on measures for border protection and to the President a package to propose.
A prediction: What this package contains: – a new building of significant length and height will not be there. Trumps Plan to build a wall on the border in the South, then later, eventually, Mexico paid after the Congress has enforced the money from tax revenues ever, is dead. Because Trump can tweet as often “Build the Wall!”.
Pelosi has added Trump, the worst and most embarrassing defeat of his previous term of office.
Even the threat of the President, to divert billions, by a decree of Parliament from the defence budget, sounds not very well thought out. That would be like robbing the Bank Director of the Bank, because his account is so overdrawn, that the employees pay no money. Possible that Trump makes the still.
