It can be dangerous to bet everything on just one model of car, but it appears none the less to be successful for Nissan.
The japanese automaker sells almost exclusively SUV model Qashqai at home, while, for instance, the little Micra model does not appeal to many consumers.
Nissan Qashqais success is the result of very attractive prices seasoned with copious amounts of equipment, and that’s how it has been for several years.
the Combination is so effective that the Nissan Qashqai in 2018 was the best selling passenger car in June, July and august in Denmark.
If the sale must be kept up, the car must be continually updated, and it is happening now with the new motors, that can pull more and at the same time is more economic. With the motors follows a smaller price increase in the region of 10,000 dollars.
Nissan Qashqai is now available with a new gasoline engine of 1.3 liters, which provide either 140 or 160 horsepower. It replaces the two previous engines of 1.2 and 1.6 liters, and the will likely be the natural choice for most of the Danish buyers.

Farewell to the CVT
The best news is, however, the possibility of dobbeltkoblingsgearkasse in the version with 160 hp. Previously Nissan Qashqai, could only be obtained with a so-called CVT gearbox, and it was not particularly successful.

In the variant with 140 hp is the emissions decreased so much, the green ownership will be reduced in comparison to the old engine of 1.2 liters, which it replaces.

Improved diesel engine
The diesel engine of 1.5 liter has also been heavily updated. In fact, more than 90 percent of the engine parts have been changed, and the result is 5 hp extra, so the engine now makes 115 hp. The torque is maintained at 260 Nm, but the engine has got an overboost function that briefly gives 25 Nm.

Immediately is the new engine however, is more future proof and the price premium worth it.
