On the border with the outrageous
On the video – as you can see in the newspaper Politiken.dk – can you see that boy in place of the broccoli get a banana (and you can read that he also got the salad). the Ombudsman has in the autumn visited Sjælsmark several times and d. 20 december he published a report on the conditions in which they rejected the asylum seekers ‘ children in the Sjælsmark. the
In the report, you can bl.a . read, that it would be more almenmenneskeligt and humanitarian, if the responsible authorities (it is probation, that driver Sjælsmark) were slightly less stringent, with regard to food:
– What is it about the opening times of the cafeteria, the composition of the food that is available, written information about madudbuddet for children, the distribution of refrigerators and microwave ovens, etc., writes the ombudsman, however, overall not think that the situation of children in Udrejsecenter Sjælsmark generally can be assumed to be in violation of neither the UN Convention, the UN convention against torture or art. 3 of The European Convention on human rights.
