The professional kitesurfing Alex Soto got an experience he will never forget, as he shortly before christmas trained for the 2019 edition of the Pan American Games in The Dominican Republic, writes Perth Now.

Soto trained at a so-called hydrofoil-board, which lifts the kiteboardet above the water surface, and thus increases the move.

He had, according to the assessment to a speed of approximately 55 kilometers an hour when he saw a shark under the surface in the crystal clear water right in front of him.

because of the move he could not, however, manage to dodge, and it was therefore in a collision with the shark.

’the Shark just disappeared, I quickly got a hold of my board and came back to the shore. My board was the right to be included, but I was ok’, writes Alex Soto about the experience, which was filmed by his GoPro camera.

I went back to the school I work for and told people about it, but they didn’t believe me. But I had my GoPro, so I showed them the video, tell kitesurferen according to Perth Now.
