Style Two years after she made her own clothing line ‘Rouje’ founded, launches Jeanne Damas is now also a range of cosmetics; ‘Le Rouje de Paris’. Where the name Rouje originally referred to her penchant for red lips, shares the Parisian it-girl and her trademark now with the rest of the world.
The beautylijn is, not coincidentally, built around lipsticks in favorite shades of Damas. “We’re launching the cosmetics line with 4 different colors: classic red ‘Jeanne’ with a touch of pink, the dark red ‘Camille’, the brown-pink ‘Laura’ and brown ‘Lamia’. Then we will monthly a new hue to introduce: fuchsia, nude, red and a orange-red, perfect for blondes,” says Damas. All of the lipsticks have a crèmetextuur and a matte finish.
