Of a British Diplomat and politician Paddy Ashdown has died at the age of 77 years. The former former head of the liberal democratic party has also acted as the high UN representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The former High representative of the United Nations for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Briton Paddy Ashdown, is dead. He died at the age of 77 years, informed the British liberal democratic party, at their peak from 1988 to 1999 had stood.

Ashdown had made an “immeasurable contribution to advancing the cause of liberalism”, explained his party. He will be missed “painful”. Party leader Vince Cable said it was a “very sad day”. Ashdown had been respected by people from across the political spectrum.
After his time as a marine infantryman Ashdown was changed to the Ministry of foreign Affairs in London, sent him as a Diplomat from the British Delegation to the UN in Geneva. As a UN officer, he led in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2002 to 2006, with a heavy Hand on a well-functioning system of government. However, he dismissed dozens of Serbian officers for alleged involvement in war crimes.
Numerous honors and awards
in 2008, the then UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, Ashdown became the successor to the German Tom Koenigs, as a UN envoy for Afghanistan. Because the government in Kabul rejected the British, however, he declared his renunciation of the Post. Ashdown was beaten for his achievements several times by the British Queen Elizabeth II honoured and knighted.
