When the police turned out for messages about violence against more people in the centre of Oslo, they saw a man who apparently was dragged by a taxi. the
Operasjonsleder Line Bulkhead in the Oslo police says at 4.30-the time that they still don’t have the whole overview of what happened at the Fridtjof Nansen square behind the town hall an hour later.
– We got messages about a rabid man who went loose on more people. He should have thrown a girl in the ground, and the one who reported to us said he had been beaten in the head as he was bleeding, ” says Bulkhead.
– When our people came to the place, they saw a man who tried to keep a taxi, and patrol perceive it as that he is being towed by the car. it turns out to be the offended person, who tries to prevent the perpetrator to run away.
the Man who tried to keep the car, the car has received some damage and is seen to by a health care professional. Bulkhead says there are no serious injuries in connection with the incident. Police are looking for a supposed injured girl and found her a block away.
– She is unharmed, but doesn’t want to explain himself for us, ” says Bulkhead.
The supposed perpetrator is a man in the 20s, and he is apprehended by the police. Operasjonslederen says the taxi driver may have his licence seized. the
