Their unconditional best-known number is landeplagen/ørehængeren ‘Bonsoir Madame’, as over the past many years I have played around the country to countless concerts, festivals and festivals, but soon it’s the last chance, if one must experience the band, before they say ‘Au revoir Madame’ and put tourbussen permanently in the garage.

– Now we have had 28 in the manege, so now it must be time for a new adventure, ” says the band’s frontman Anders Blichfeldt to Ekstra Bladet.

the Band has over 28 years has been one of the country’s most frequently touring bands, and it has not been without cost to the family and friends, as the five members – Pete Repete, Asger Steenholdt, Anders Blichfeldt, John ‘Jay’ and Jens Fredslund – now, in the future, hope that there will be better time to prioritize.

– In through the last 28 years, there are really many familiefødselsdage, weddings and I know not what, which you’ve missed. The past years have quietly, for my part, proved a need to be more connected with family, friends, and my closest, explains Anders Blichfeldt.

– it Was you who took the decision?

– Yes, it may well say. I’ve certainly marked a great need for it, and so we have talked about it. There are of course some in the band who more than others have had, yes-the hat on in relation to the decision, but there is no drama. It is, as it is, and there is no one in the band who are sure of each other, says Blichfeldt and adds that the focus now, first and foremost, is to give their fans the best possible afskedsturné next year:

– Now we give it a proper skull to afskedsturnéen in 2018 and get to say good-bye in style. We look forward to give the audience everything we have in us one last time, and say thank you for this time with the full garbage.

– there will be a reunion concert tour?

– We might come to play together again at some point. Now we shall see. I will not rule it out, but time will tell. Maybe we get to play a single concert at the festive occasions, but the big tours, it’s over with.

Anders Blichfeldt stresses, however, it is not over for the band members to be seen in private, simply because they now not need to spend hour after hour in the backstage room, on stage and on the road.

– We still have a friendly relationship among themselves and are very involved in each other’s lives criss-cross, so of course we will maintain contact. The 28 year In a tourbus has created close friendships between us and our families. We will still meet up and jam from time to time, for the music will always be important for all of us, ends Anders Blichfeldt.
