In December a man in the 50 years meet in Oslo district court, accused of having agreed a meeting with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl. The man should have had the intention to commit sexual acts with her.
According to the indictment sent the man messages with sexualised content to the girl who he thought was 14 years old, but that really was an adult.
Messaging
He should have written “desire for sex” and far harsher messages with sexualised content.
Messages should have been sent via an im service on the web and via telephone in June of this year.
Politiadvokat Børge Enoksen says that it was people associated with the group the Children’s Safety that revealed the accused man, and that they called the police while they stood and confronted him.
the Children’s Safety is a group that works to reveal nettovergripere. They even claim that they never take the initiative to sexual talk, and never take the initiative to a meeting. In recent years, they have been much discussed in the Norwegian media, and created debate with their methods.
Children’s insecurity Debate Confrontation
Stefan Dahlgren in the Children’s Confidence confirms to Dagbladet that they had contact with the man in the forefront of the arrest, and says that they contacted the police until they confronted him.
Same day as the man sent messages, he had also agreed to meet the girl at his own residence, according to the indictment. This confirms Dahlberg.
We called a politipatrulje in the forefront of the confrontation. The police agreed with a woman who is affiliated with the Children’s Safety that she should go up to the man’s residence to call on. First we got no answer, so she sent a message to the man, ” says Dahlberg continues:

According to the indictment, if a man must have had intent “to have sexual intercourse and/or action with her”, but when he opened the door to let her in, he got a surprise.
“He succeeded not because he had agreed with in reality was an adult lady who stood outside the door when he opened,” it says in the indictment.

Dagbladet has been in contact with the man’s defense, Cathrine Pryser Grøndahl, who did not want to comment on the case.

Dahlberg tells him that he hope that chatloggene sheds light on the matter, and that the court comes to a conclusion that such behavior is not okay.

“I think we will get to work more undisturbed now that we don’t publish these videos on Facebook anymore, so as we did previously,” he says.
He tells us that the group is still pretty active, but that they take a few weeks off now because it’s christmas.
– It is hard to drive with this and you are very tired. We do not have any good support system around us, except each other. So it is clear that it is challenging to stand in this every day, ” says Dahlberg.
He tells us that the last year has confronted the about 40 people who have pre-arranged meeting with minor with intent to commit sexual acts.

the Children’s Confidence has received sharp criticism from the police for their methods. And the leader of the section for violence and sexually motivated crimes reported, Grete Metlid, has previously stated to Dagbladet that they look at the business as “highly problematic”.
Dahlgren tells us that the police have urged them to review the matters on which they have had contact with people who have wanted to meet with minors, but the experience that the cases ends with dismissal when they do it.
But when we confront people, it leads as a rule to the apprehension. In the past, cases come running almost monthly, and in november we were involved in three cases that came up for the right, ” he says.
