Captured the unique reindeer on the image: ”Never seen reached the similar”
During a mountain tour discovered the Mads Nordsveen anything that moved in the white winter landscape.
It was a small clean. But not just any reindeer – but a full white clean.
– They are extremely rare, ” says Mads.
Outside Tromsø in northern Norway live an extremely unusual small clean. The reindeer, a calf, came traskande through the snow when Mads Nordsveen, 24, was out on a hike in the mountains.
It was then that I had the good fortune to see renkalven that was completely white, ” says Mads who works as a photographer.
Both the Mads and his company stopped and were fascinated by what they saw.
“We have been told that the white reindeer is so unique that they are said to bring good luck according to sami folklore,” says Mads.

White reindeer is unique. Of all of the reindeer, only a few white.
“I have never seen anything like this before,” says Mads, and tells how he succeeded in catching the calf in the picture.
It seemed a little bit afraid in the beginning but we sat in silence and was very quiet, eventually came pretty close.
the Images in the unique reindeer quickly got spread after Mads during the Monday la them up on their Instagram.
After having taken a few pictures left Mads calf which, in turn, walked back towards the woods where his mother was.
“It was a magical moment,” says Mads.
