Professional for three seasons now with Stade Rennais, Adrien Truffert is a long-term player. The side, who had his first selection with the French A team at the end of 2022, extended his contract for one season with the Breton club. He is now under contract until 2026. Touched in the ankle last March, Truffert turned back the lawns of Ligue 1 last Sunday in Lens (1-1), on the occasion of the 2nd day of the championship.

On the club’s website, he said: “It’s the reward for all the work done so far. I have a number of matches for my age and I still hope to play many more with Stade Rennais. It’s always a pride to wear this shirt. Above all, I hope that we will have a great season. It had been five months since I had played in Ligue 1, it made me extremely happy to come back. There were difficult moments but today I feel good, I have good feelings. It’s difficult to project yourself after only two games but there is a good squad. With the staff, we are welded. We will give everything in every game to have a great season.”
