So far, everything is going well for the French mixed doubles composed of Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue at the Badminton Worlds organized in Copenhagen.
Seeded number 8, the French duo crossed the milestone of the 2nd round by dominating in a very good way the English Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith (21-18, 21-13) who, however, in the past, had often posed to him big problems. In the next round, the French could challenge the number 14 seeded pair, the Malaysians Tang Jie Chen and Ee Wei Toh, if they dominate a Hong Kong double beforehand.
