A few days before the entry into force of the pension reform on September 1, two new decrees implementing the text were published on Tuesday in the Official Journal. Of the 31 decrees planned, most have now been published.

In the last two to date, there is in particular a measure initiated by the right-wing senatorial majority, after the controversy over the harmful effects of the reform for mothers. This is the premium for some mothers. This premium, which can go up to 5%, amounts to 1.25% per additional quarter of contribution for those who will exceed 43 annuities one year before the legal retirement age, with at least one quarter of maternity increase or education of children.

The same decree also specifies the conditions for the brand new accounting for collective utility work (TUC) retirement rights, old subsidized contracts introduced in the 1980s. subsidized contracts: practical internships in companies, “young volunteers” internships, internships for initiation to professional life and local integration programs. A dedicated service for people who have completed internships of this type, on which they can deposit their contracts, will open at the end of September, indicates to Figaro Renaud Villard, director general of the National old-age insurance fund (Cnav).

As also provided for in the law, the second decree makes it more flexible to buy back quarters of retirement for internships (until the age of 30) and for higher education (until the age of 40). Finally, the doubling of quarters that can be validated by high-level athletes in respect of their activity is formalized.
