Thomas Ramos (back of the France team, after the victory against Scotland 30-27 at the microphone of TF1): “There is a lot of fatigue, the Scots are in their third match, they have more rhythm than We. It was the first game for the majority of the team tonight. These are preparation matches, it’s made for working, it was very hot, we had a lot of waste. But it was important to win and it’s done, it’s good to prepare for the future. We may have to review the second period, we made more mistakes and that allowed this Scottish team to come back and pass in front of us. When you play, it’s good to win and to reconnect with victory. There are two preparation matches left to really refine what we are working on during the week, so there are still adjustments, but it is positive to have won tonight.
Gabin Villière (winger of the France team, after the victory against Scotland 30-27 at the microphone of TF1): “The victory is there, that’s the main thing. We wanted to rectify the situation compared to last week (and the defeat in Scotland 25-21). We still have a lot of things to work on but the objective was to win. It was hard but it feels good. We’ve all been picking up together for five weeks and we were ready. There are still things to settle in terms of rugby but in terms of mental strength and desire, it was great. It is an honor and a pride to be able to join this group and to be able to be on the field to represent this team.
