The French hopefuls team, which will participate in the Olympic football tournament in Paris from July 24 to August 10, will play two friendly matches against the Ivory Coast, on March 22 in Châteauroux (6:30 p.m.), and in the United States, on March 25 in Sochaux (9:05 p.m.), announced the French Federation (FFF) on Friday.
Thierry Henry, the coach of the French Olympic team, will take advantage of these two meetings to carry out “a squad review with players born from January 1, 2001”, specifies the Federation in a press release.
The Bleuets, who will try, at home, to win the second gold medal for the French team after that obtained in 1984 in Los Angeles, will begin their preparation for the competition in June.
The two friendly matches will be broadcast on the L’team channel, said the FFF.
