The long-awaited list by lovers of rugby and the XV of France will be officially unveiled this Wednesday by coach Fabien Galthié. 42 players will be selected to prepare for the Oval Ball World Cup in France from September 8 to October 28. After the four friendly matches (two against Scotland, one against Fiji then Australia) the list will be reduced to 33 names on August 28th. The preparation of the Blues will begin on July 3 on the side of the principality in Monaco.

Since his arrival in January 2020, Fabien Galthié has played 35 official matches separating him from the 2019 World Cup in Japan to the 2023 edition in France. In three and a half years, the tactician and his staff have selected 79 different players. Players in favorable or unfavorable waivers will officially know their fate today.
