“A negotiating team sent by the government of Afghanistan has arrived in Abu Dhabi in the United arab emirates – where the representatives of the united states and the afghan taliban met on Monday.”
“According to an official statement, the delegation, under the leadership of Abdul Salam Rahimi, start talks to prepare for a meeting between the taliban and the afghan government. But it is far from certain that such talks will take place. The taliban have so far refused to talk with the internationally recognised government in Kabul, which they see as non-legitimate and added from the rest of the world.”
