The somewhat tricky case about Radio24syv, Amnesty International and the feminist debater Amalie Garden seems to be over.

Amalie Garden has for several weeks been quite a lot of apparently unwanted attention from satireprogrammet ‘The Short Radioavis’ at Radio24syv, in the form of phone calls from the chart Kirsten Birgit Schiøtz Kretz Hørsholm.

the Case took its beginning at the end of January, where it managed Have to get Luke Graham to relate to, why they made a cover of the rapper XXXTentacions number ‘Sad’. The rapper has repeatedly had been notified of violence against women, including his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

Luke Graham ended subsequent to drag the number back.

Since investigated ‘The Short Radioavis’ Haves its own Spotify profile, where it appeared that she also listens to voldsdømte artists.

It led, according to Amnesty International of a smear campaign against Garden, which the organization collaborates with, from the programme’s listeners, and it got them to threaten the radio channel with the lawyers.

– It is about harassment. She has long been subjected to persecution and harassment. For weeks she has been contacted numerous times and been called up, in spite of the fact that she has requested that we refrain from it. She has blocked their number but then they call just from another number. She is crying, have anxiety, have heart palpitations and have difficulty sleeping. She has it really bad. It is the consequence of the systematic crusades, explained the secretary general of Amnesty International, Trine Christensen, to Ekstra Bladet on Monday.

But now the organization has pulled in the country.

‘It is a mistake, that we in our request to Radio24syv say that we will pass the case to a lawyer’, writes Trine Christensen in a press release.

‘we would like to apologize. Especially because we at no time had the intention of polishing the lawyers at Radio24syv. We’ve only communicated in touch with a lawyer specializing in digital harassment, which could advise the Amalie Garden’, she adds.

Even take the Amalie Garden controversy relaxed, and strikes firmly on its social media that she has it good, despite mediestormen.

‘Short update: I sleep at night (!), eat good food, fucks a lot and working on cool projects in London’, she writes on her Facebook profile.

She has allegedly made a deliberate choice not to be part of the debate, after she had achieved what she wanted.

‘I have it good and have had it good – I have taken a deliberately chosen not to be a part of the ‘debate’, since I’m on 5 hours were achieved, what I set in place for good two months ago – that the band Lukas Graham took the position to have made a cover of a male artist who is primarily known for having committed gross partnervold (and it was also Luke’s suggestion to get it removed).

I have learned one thing: the Danish media and powerful men in the Danish media landscape loses their shit when one is able to take action and carry out successful campaigns WITHOUT first consulting with them through vague op-ed, ill-prepared radio discussions and polarizing Twitter threads.’

Wednesday mixed Luke graham’s frontman Lukas Forchhammer in the case. On Twitter invited the Danish world star Lukas Forchhammer from the band Lukas Graham in the dispute.

‘And so we stop just to the internet-the bullying of the Amalie Garden’, he wrote

‘smear campaign and threats belong nowhere at home. Satire is satire and is absolutely ok’.

Amalie Garden is doing feminist activism on his Instagram profile Scandinaviandreamgurl, where she has over 89.000 followers. She has among other things talked about voldtægtskultur and violence against women, after she herself was exposed to a date rape in 2014.

She did not wish to speak to Ekstra Bladet.
