Rosie.

It is, what do you call the corpse of the huge hvidhaj, which was found floating in a large tank of formaldehyde in a spooky abandoned wildlife park in Victoria in Australia last year.

Now, it has got a new home.

The story brings several international media, including the News.com.au, Unilad and the Daily Mail.

The surviving wildlife park by the town of Bass in eastern Victoria was almost a ruin filled with garbage and broken furniture.

tucked away inside a dark shed found australian Luke McPherson the dead five metres long hvidhaj. The shark was floating in a greenish fluid consisting of, among other things formaldehyde, a chemical substance, among other things, used to preserve dead bodies.

Luke was extremely dismayed at the found of the shark. He chose, however, to film it, and put a 30 minutes long video on YouTube, which went viral.

the video Clip has been seen by more than 11 million times, and this has heightened the interest to see the shark. But it has also got a negative effect. More people now have tried to destroy the tank to get an even better view of the mighty hvidhaj.

But Rosies followers think it deserved a decent home, and they initiate a campaign.

the Crystal World and Prehistoric Journeys, which is an australian museum, got wind of this and chose to move hvidhajen home for them.

– I am very proud to be able to help her (hvidhajen, red) and make it possible for many people to see it. Rosie has had an amazing journey, says Shane McAlister, who works at the museum, to Unilad.

The mysterious shark was found dead in the net with some tuna-fishermen way back in 1989 and later transported to the tank in the zoo, which was then known as the ‘Wildlife Wonderland’.

the Zoo was closed in 2012 by the environmental authorities in Australia because of various violations in connection with the keeping of wild animals as well as a lack of permission to exhibit the australian animals to the public.

the Owner left his wildlife park, and left all the animals to dyreværnsforeningen RSPCA and the environmental authorities. But there was never found a new place for the dead shark.

Not until now.
