O.C. (26), was arrested by the National Police for trying to pawn a stolen gold chain from El Ejido. He also assaulted agents who attempted to escape.
The Police Station indicated in a note that the chain was taken in a robbery at a house on December 9, along with other jewels. Investigators tried to track the stolen items.
Agents were led to a jewelry shop, which also serves as a gold-buying establishment. They witnessed a suspicious person enter the store’s interior and leave after a few minutes.
Agents pursued the suspect to arrest him. He tried to escape with no success, and he used his strength to avoid arrest.
During the search, the Police discovered a gold chain in one of his shoes. It had been reported that he had been stolen from El Ejido’s house days earlier.
The suspect was taken along with his seized items and proceedings to El Ejido, where he was sentenced for attacking and receiving agents of the authority.
